Meal plans here link room rate plans to F&B entitlements:
• EP (European Plan) — room only; meals charged separately.
• CP (Continental Plan) — breakfast included.
• MAP (Modified American Plan) — breakfast + one major meal (usually dinner).
• AP (American Plan) — all meals.
Cashiers must know when to charge vs when the meal is included.

Set inclusions clearly
Which meal periods, which outlet, any cover limits or timings. Note first meal on arrival for MAP/AP.

Operate at the door
Host checks room plan before charging breakfast. Extra orders (minibar-style extras, special barbecue) still bill.
India example: CP guest breakfast free · fresh juice extra ₹120.
