What this section is
Outlet settings is the master switch for the hotel restaurant (or café). Until the outlet is enabled with clear hours, Menu / Tables / QR will not behave as a live operation for guests and staff.

Open Outlet settings
Food & beverage → Setup → Outlet settings. Enable the outlet and set the guest-facing name.
India example: Enable → “The Palm Kitchen” · Seaside Heritage. -
Set hours and visibility
Daily or day-wise hours (e.g. 7:00–10:30, 12:00–15:00, 19:00–22:30). Control whether the public/QR menu is visible.
India example: Daily 7 AM–10:30 PM · public menu on. -
Confirm before Service training
Save and reopen the page — name/hours must match what you print on QR tent cards and tell FO (Front Office) for room service hours.
India example: FO brief: kitchen last KOT 22:15 · outlet closes 22:30.
Tips
If you run a bar with different hours, note it in settings/description so QR guests are not surprised. · Disable public menu during soft-launch if only staff should order.
Common mistakes
Leaving the outlet disabled while cashiers try to use POS — nothing works and blame lands on “the system”.
