Overview
Our commitment
FindMyStay.in (“we”, “us”, or “our”) operates the FindMyStay website and related owner services (collectively, the “Service”) for accommodation discovery and property management in India. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard information when you use the Service.
We process personal data in line with applicable Indian law, including the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act), as applicable.
By using FindMyStay.in, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

For property owners
Listing owners
As a listing owner, information you mark for your public listing (name, location, photos, amenities, contact options, and similar) is visible to visitors on FindMyStay.in.
We encourage accurate, up-to-date listing details. You may update or request removal of listing content through your account tools or by contacting support, subject to legal and operational retention needs (for example active subscriptions or dispute records).
We use your account contact details to communicate about your listing, plan status, security events, and product updates related to the Service.
For travellers
Guests & visitors
When you browse listings, we process usage data needed to show pages and improve discovery. When you contact a property (call, WhatsApp, or enquiry), your details may be shared with that listing owner so they can respond.
Listing owners are independent businesses. How they handle guest information after contact is their responsibility — review their practices where available. FindMyStay.in is not a party to stays booked offline between guests and owners.
Owner tools
Owner PMS & team access
Property-scoped records
Reservations, folios, guest CRM notes, expenses, and similar records are stored for the property you manage and used to provide those features.
Team members
If you invite staff, they receive access according to the role you assign. Owners remain responsible for who they invite and what those users can see.
Exports & audit
Authorized users may export property data and view audit logs of sensitive changes. Treat exports as confidential.
Retention settings
Owners may configure privacy/retention preferences in settings as operational guidance. Automated legal erasure still follows applicable law and our retention rules below.

Safeguards
Data retention & security

If you delete content or close an account, we remove or anonymize data within a reasonable period, except where retention is required.
We implement administrative, technical, and organizational measures appropriate to the Service, including HTTPS in transit, hashed passwords, and access controls. No method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure.
