What this section is

Revenue hub is the central navigation for rate strategy on this property. It links metrics (occupancy, ADR, RevPAR), Pricing calendar, Seasonal pricing, Dynamic pricing rules, Booking pace, and Forecast. Configuration and estimates live in the PMS (Property Management System); this is not a live RMS (Revenue Management System) or auto OTA push. Typical loop: read pace → change Pricing calendar BAR → Publishing / Rate attestation on channels.

In the owner dashboard

Open Revenue management under Listing / Property after you claim a stay. Same vocabulary as Help Academy.

~8 min

Typical time to read this guide and complete the screen once for a small property.

Distribution · Revenue management

Steer rates with the revenue hub, restrictions, dynamic pricing hints, competitor logs, booking pace, and OTB forecast.

Help cues

When to use it

Cue 1

Monday revenue review across the next 30 days.

Cue 2

Before Diwali / wedding weekends — plan BAR and restrictions.

Cue 3

Soft mid-week — decide whether to discount or hold.

Do this

Step-by-step

  1. 1

    Open Revenue hub

Distribution → Revenue hub. Scan the tiles: metrics, pricing calendar, seasonal, dynamic rules, pace, forecast.

India example: Kochi → Revenue hub → Booking pace soft Tue–Thu.
  2. 2

    Decide the action

Weak pace → Pricing calendar or Dynamic pricing suggestion. Compression dates → Restrictions (MLOS/CTA). Competitor undercut → log Competitor rates then adjust BAR.

India example: Sat OTB strong → hold BAR · add MLOS 2 · attest OTA.
  3. 3

    Close the loop on channels

After PMS rate/restriction changes, update extranets/CM and log Rate attestation (and Availability if you stop-sold).

    India example: Calendar ↑ → B.com + MMT → Rate attest success.

Tips

Hub is navigation — real edits happen on Pricing calendar, Restrictions, and attestation screens. · Pair with Portfolio on multi-property mornings, then finish work inside one property hub.

Common mistakes

Changing only the hub mindset in a meeting and never updating the Pricing calendar or OTAs.

Staff training

Detailed examples

Full India-hotel scenarios — same structure as Help Academy. Follow on the live screen with your team.

Example 1: Monday revenue loop — pace then BAR

Setting

Fort Kochi · mid-week soft · weekend almost full.

Who is involved

Owner Ananya · Desk

Hub first, then one property action. Soft Tue gets an offer; Sat gets restrictions — not the same discount on both.

# What staff do What they should see
1 Distribution → Revenue hub → Booking pace Tue weak · Sat strong.
2 Pricing calendar: mid-week offer · Sat hold BAR PMS rates updated.
3 Rate attest OTAs for changed dates Channels match strategy.
End result: One focused revenue action plan for the week.
