What this section is
Booking pace shows OTB (on-the-books) demand from confirmed PMS reservations — not a live OTA pickup feed. Revenue is allocated evenly across nights of each stay for a simple pace view. Use 7-day pickup and average booking lead to decide whether to discount, hold, or restrict.
In the owner dashboard
Open Booking pace analysis under Listing / Property after you claim a stay. Same vocabulary as Help Academy.

Help cues
When to use it
Cue 1
Daily/weekly: is next Saturday filling?
Cue 2
Soft Tuesday — how many room-nights OTB vs last week’s feel?
Cue 3
Lead time long → push early-bird; lead time short → protect last rooms.
Do this
Step-by-step
-
Open Booking pace
Distribution → Booking pace. Read pickup (7 days) and avg booking lead (90d).
India example: Pickup 12 bookings · avg lead 14 days. -
Scan OTB by stay date
Table: stay date → room-nights OTB → allocated revenue ₹ for the next 30 days.
India example: Sat 18 RN · ₹1.42L · Tue only 4 RN. -
Feed Revenue hub actions
Weak dates → offers / dynamic suggestion / BAR cut. Strong dates → MLOS / hold BAR / attest. Then re-check pace tomorrow.
India example: Tue soft → mid-week offer · Sat hold + MLOS 2.
Tips
Allocated revenue is a pace aid — not exact folio night audit revenue. · Import OTA inbox promptly or pace understates true OTB.
Common mistakes
Discounting a date that is already strong on pace because “OTAs feel quiet” in your inbox.

Owner · Front office
Pace tells you not to discount Saturday. Tuesday needs a different tool — offer or soft BAR.
