What this section is

Corporate accounts store company masters (name, GSTIN — Goods and Services Tax Identification Number — reference, contracted BAR — Best Available Rate — or special rate, credit terms). When creating a booking for that company, pick the account so rates and invoice notes stay consistent.

In the owner dashboard

Open Corporate accounts under Listing / Property after you claim a stay. Same vocabulary as Help Academy.

~8 min

Typical time to read this guide and complete the screen once for a small property.

Reservations

Create and manage bookings: lists, documents, groups, waitlist, corporate/agents, overbooking, and sources.

Help cues

When to use it

Cue 1

Signing a rate contract with a local IT / bank / PSU client.

Cue 2

Travel desk sends recurring mid-week stays.

Cue 3

Accounts receivable needs clear company billing names.

Do this

Step-by-step

  1. 1

    Open Corporate accounts

Reservations → Corporate accounts → add company with contracted rate and notes.

India example: Infosys Ltd · contracted Deluxe ₹3,200 · net-30 · GSTIN on file.
  2. 2

    Book against the account

New booking → select corporate account / source Corporate when your form supports it; apply contracted rate.

India example: Two Superior · Tue–Thu · Infosys · invoice to company.
  3. 3

    Checkout billing

At departure, issue tax invoice in company name; credit terms follow your Finance credit-billing rules.

India example: Do not collect cash if account is on credit — post to AR.

Tips

Keep GSTIN spelling exact — finance will reuse it on every invoice.

Common mistakes

Giving walk-in BAR to a contracted company guest — breaks the rate agreement.

Staff training

Detailed examples

Full India-hotel scenarios — same structure as Help Academy. Follow on the live screen with your team.

Example 1: Set up Infosys contracted rate

Setting

New corporate contract: Deluxe ₹3,200 net-30.

Who is involved

Owner · Accountant Meera

Corporate accounts store the deal. Bookings must use that rate — not walk-in BAR (Best Available Rate).

# What staff do What they should see
1 Reservations → Corporate accounts → add Infosys Ltd Contract rate + GSTIN + net-30 notes saved.
2 New booking for Infosys mid-week Rate ₹3,200 applied; source/account Corporate.
3 Checkout → invoice in company name on credit AR (Accounts Receivable) tracks payment; no lobby cash confusion.
End result: Contract honoured; finance has clean company billing.
