Balance sheet (BS) shows assets, liabilities, and equity as of a chosen date (often Indian FY context) from posted GL balances. Assets = liabilities + equity. Until FY closing, current-year P&L commonly sits in equity. Bank/cash/AR/AP from your vouchers should reconcile to subledgers.
