What this section is
Stores / warehouses are physical or logical stock locations. MAIN holds bulk; KIT (kitchen) and HK hold working stock. Transfers move qty between them — without stores, you only have a single bucket and floor theft/loss is invisible.

Inventory → Catalog & stores → Stores / warehouses. List existing locations.
India example: MAIN · KIT · HK. -
Create locations with clear codes
Short code + name. One MAIN receiving store if possible — vendors deliver there, then transfer/issue outward.
India example: MAIN Central store · KIT Palm Kitchen · HK Housekeeping. -
Use on every movement
GRN into MAIN; issue/transfer to KIT/HK. Dashboard and counts are per store — pick the right one.
India example: GRN shampoo → MAIN · transfer 24 → HK.
Tips
Do not create a store per floor unless you will count each one — complexity has a cost. · Lock who may receive into MAIN vs issue to HK.
Common mistakes
Receiving vendor stock straight into “HK” with no MAIN trail — purchasing and finance lose the audit.
