What this section is
Reorder reads Item master reorder points against on-hand (and open orders) to suggest replenishment. It does not buy by itself — you still raise a PR/PO. Bad reorder levels create either stockouts or overstock.

Open Reorder
Inventory → Procurement → Reorder. Review suggested lines below reorder level.
India example: Shampoo below 20 · suggest order 40. -
Validate the suggestion
Check real shelf, open POs, and upcoming occupancy/events. Adjust qty before raising PR/PO.
India example: Suggest 40 · open PO already 24 · order only 16 more. -
Fix master data when noise
Chronic false alerts → edit Item master reorder level. Chronic stockouts → raise level or shorten lead time with vendor.
India example: Towels always red → reorder 40→60 for peak months.
Tips
Seasonal pars: Onam/Diwali weeks need higher levels than monsoon soft weeks. · Run Reorder after posting GRNs so suggestions are not stale.
Common mistakes
Blindly ordering every suggestion without checking open POs — double orders pile up in MAIN.
