Inventory → Procurement → Purchase requisition. Create PR with department, SKUs, qtys, need-by date.

Submit for approval
Submit so the approver sees it. Do not buy on cash while PR sits draft.

Approve → raise PO
Approver approves/rejects with note. Approved PR feeds Inventory Purchase orders.

Tips
One PR per logical need beats a mixed mega-PR nobody can approve quickly. · Urgent flag + phone call still needs the PR row for audit.
