What this section is
Enquiries (legacy) is a lightweight lead pipeline: contact, WhatsApp phone, event date, guests, status (new / contacted / closed), notes. It is not a full booking — convert important leads on Event bookings and link the enquiry_id. Room blocks and guest folios for residential weddings are still separate Front desk / Reservations work.

Create Event booking and link this enquiry when they commit.

Tips
Do not leave “hot” leads only here — move to Event bookings once a date is real. · Closed + note “lost to competitor” helps season reviews.
Common mistakes
Treating enquiry status as a venue hold — use Function calendar / booking block for that.
