What this section is
Resources is banquet equipment stock (furniture, AV, sound) with quantity on hand and optional hire rate ₹. Allocate to bookings in quoted / contracted / confirmed status; quantity cannot exceed on-hand. Defaults may include chairs, round tables, projector, PA. Allocate against the BEO so stewards know what to set.

Allocate to booking
Pick booking + resource + qty (≤ on hand). System rejects oversell.

Reconcile after event
Return/count damaged items in stock notes or adjust qty — do not ignore losses.
India example: 4 chairs damaged · reduce on hand / raise PO.
