What this section is

BEO (Banquet Event Order) is the operational function sheet. Pick a non-cancelled booking, fill layout, menu notes, service instructions, AV, other requirements, then save as draft or Issue to departments now (status issued + timestamp). Codes BEO-yymmdd-###. Kitchen, stewards, FO, and security should work from the issued BEO — not from WhatsApp fragments.

Open BEO

Events → BEO. Select the booking (venue/date must be right).

India example: Sharma wedding · Ballroom · 18 Oct.
Fill the sheet

Layout, menu (e.g. veg buffet + Jain counters), service timing (barat arrival), AV, other reqs.

India example: Rounds of 10 · dinner 20:00 · projector + PA.
Issue

Issue to departments when ready — draft is for prep only. Re-issue/update if major changes land.

India example: Issued · kitchen + HK notified.

Tips

Issue at least 48 hours before large weddings when possible. · Cross-check Resources and Event staff against the BEO.

Common mistakes

Running the function from a draft BEO nobody printed — departments miss changes.
