What this section is
Event billing posts charge lines against a booking: type (venue hire / catering / equipment / extra staff / other), description, qty × unit ₹. Posting updates the booking contract_amount toward the charges total. Use this to build the commercial bill of quantities; GST tax invoices for guests may still flow through Finance / folios when the stay is residential — keep stories aligned.

Post lines
Add venue hire, catering (qty × ₹/pax), equipment, extras with clear descriptions.

Check totals
Charges total should match what you will collect on Advances & settlement (plus any folio GST process).
India example: Charges ≈ contract · ready for token.
Tips
Describe lines for the client statement — “Misc” causes disputes. · This screen may not split CGST/SGST — tax invoice rules still live in Finance.
Common mistakes
Collecting full payment while charges still empty — settlement has nothing to match.
