Run (or preview) nightly room-charge posting for a business date, skip already-posted nights, and respect closed dates.

What this section is
Room posting posts the night’s accommodation charge to in-house folios (typically total÷nights). Preview shows Ready / Already posted / Will skip. You cannot post into a closed business date — open Business date / Night audit first. Optional auto-post setting depends on cron. Run after arrivals settle and before or as part of night audit per your SOP.

Read Ready vs skip
Confirm Ready rows; Already posted should not double-post; Will skip needs a reason in your head (checkout, zero rate).

Run posting
Confirm Run posting. Check a sample folio for the room charge. Then continue Night audit / Day-end.
India example: Rm 204 · nightly ₹3,200 posted.
Tips
Never force-post into a closed date — reopen/fix date process with a manager.
Common mistakes
Running twice “to be sure” without reading Already posted — duplicates if logic fails.
